Overview

Jeff is a Founder of and an Attorney for the Firm. Jeff is an experienced negotiator, litigator, and Florida Supreme Court Certified Circuit Civil Mediator who represents individuals and business entities in commercial business litigation and transactions; intellectual property and entertainment law; construction disputes; condominium and homeowners’ associations; general business counsel; first-party property damage and insurance claims; land use; and as general counsel to various counties, cities, and government agencies in the Florida Panhandle. Jeff also devotes a significant portion of his practice to his role as a Certified Circuit Civil Mediator in all manner of disputes.

Jeff graduated with honors from The University of Tennessee College of Law, where he served as an editor on the Tennessee Law Review. Jeff’s research and writing have been published in the Tennessee Law Review and The Entrepreneurial Law Clinic Handbook, a West publication. Jeff is an active member of his community and has served on several boards and committees for the Florida Bar and other state and local civic entities. Jeff was appointed by Governors Rick Scott and Ron Desantis to Florida’s Judicial Nominating Commission for the 14th Judicial Circuit. 

Jeff has also enjoyed a successful career in the music industry as a guitarist, bandleader, and artist manager. Jeff represents his creative partners in matters relating to recording, publishing, production, touring, creative development, and artist management. Jeff has worked among award-winning recording artists including Deana Carter, Bob Dylan, Keith Urban, Charlie Daniels, Alan Jackson, Brian Wilson of the Beach Boys, Jake Owen, members of Lynyrd Skynyrd, and many others. Jeff’s guitar work and original compositions have aired on national radio and television.  

In the office, Jeff’s goal is to provide exceptional service, empathy, and expertise to his clients in an open and friendly atmosphere.  Outside the office, Jeff in usually on some adventure or other with his wife of 26 years and their two teenagers, enjoying travel, hiking, live music, good food, good books, and good company.
